Abstract

This study explores the transformative influence of image media on poetry composition among Class VI students, aiming to elucidate the role of visual stimuli in enhancing their creative expressions. Employing a mixed-methods approach, the research juxtaposes two scenarios: poetry writing with and without the integration of image media. Through a comparative analysis, statistical data, qualitative insights, and anecdotal evidence, the study delves into the multifaceted dimensions of creativity, descriptive language usage, structural variations, and student engagement. Findings reveal a discernible impact of image media on students' poetry writing abilities. Statistical analyses indicate significant differences in creativity scores and descriptive language usage between groups utilizing and not utilizing image media. Qualitative insights corroborate these findings, unveiling nuanced themes of heightened creativity, vivid imagery, and emotional resonance in poems crafted with visual stimuli. Anecdotal evidence and thematic observations underscore the transformative potential of image media, fostering deeper personal connections and elevated levels of engagement among students. Educational implications emanating from these findings advocate for a paradigm shift in pedagogical practices, emphasizing the integration of image media to nurture creativity, enhance communication skills, and cultivate holistic learning experiences.
