Abstract
This study aims to analyze the application of enterprise risk management in energy companies under the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises which experienced a significant increase in corporate profits after implementing enterprise risk management. This research was conducted using a qualitative analysis method with tests on leadership and commitment, framework, human resources and risk management processes. The results of the study found that the leader was fully committed to implementing integrated risk management by making short-term and long-term plans for the company and conducting periodic evaluations to monitor the plans that had been made. To ensure that risk management is integrated into all divisions, a risk-based integrated management system program system is created with the assignment of tasks and responsibilities based on the RASCI method. However, until June 2022 only 36.8% of employees have risk management competence. In the risk management process, effective communication has been carried out to identify risks so that they can be measured quantitatively. Thus, risks can be mitigated and monitored regularly. Overall, enterprise risk management has been implemented in a measurable and optimal manner, although not all employees have risk management certification.
