Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan meneliti besaran pengaruh variabel kepuasan kerja dan job engagement dalam memediasi hubungan reward dan kinerja. Penelitian ini mengkaji pengaruh reward terhadap job engagement, kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja, kemudian mengkaji pengaruh job engagement dan kepuasan kerja terhadap kinerja. Metode penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian kuantitatif dengan menggunakan data kuisioner sebanyak 395 responden. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa reward mempengaruhi job engagement, kepuasan kerja, dan kinerja. Job engagement dan kepuasan kerja mempengaruhi kinerja, job engagement dan kepuasan kerja mampu memediasi hubungan antara reward dan kinerja. Kemudian semakin menarik reward maka akan semakin meningkatkan job engagement karyawan serta meningkatkan kepuasan karyawan yang kemudian meningkatkan kinerja. Penelitian ini juga menunjukkan kepuasan kerja dan job engagement mampu memediasi hubungan reward terhadap kinerja, dimana kepuasan kerja memiliki pengaruh mediasi yang lebih besar daripada job engagement.
