However, a comprehensive bibliometric mapping of this research field remains unavailable. Therefore, this study aims to analyze publication trends, thematic structures, and emerging research directions related to velocity and acceleration teaching aids in linear motion physics. This study employed a quantitative bibliometric approach. A total of 376 journal articles published between 2019 and 2024 were retrieved from the Google Scholar database through Harzing's Publish or Perish software. The data were analyzed using Microsoft Excel for publication trend analysis and VOSviewer for co-occurrence, network, overlay, and density visualizations. The results revealed that publication output increased substantially during the study period, reaching its peak in 2023 with 94 publications (25%). Co-occurrence analysis identified five major thematic clusters, including teaching aids, Arduino-based experimentation, linear motion concepts, acceleration, and velocity measurement. Overlay visualization indicated that Arduino, acceleration analysis, and digital experimentation emerged as recent research trends. Density visualization showed that motion, velocity, and acceleration remain the most established research themes. This study contributes a comprehensive bibliometric mapping of velocity and acceleration teaching-aid research, highlighting emerging opportunities for IoT-integrated laboratories, sensor-based experimentation, remote laboratories, and AI-assisted physics learning. The findings provide a strategic reference for researchers and educators in developing future digital physics laboratory innovations.
Adi Pramuda, Septian Setiawan, Soka Hadiati Copyright (c) 2026 Adi Pramuda, Septian Setiawan, Soka Hadiati https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://iocscience.org/ejournal/index.php/Cendikia/article/view/7241 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 The influence of principal managerial ability and bos fund management on the performance of leading teachers at elementary schools in solok regency https://iocscience.org/ejournal/index.php/Cendikia/article/view/7223
This study was motivated by the suboptimal managerial role of school principals, limited leadership support, and the lack of transparency in the management of the School Operational Assistance (BOS) funds, which have hindered support for the innovative programs of teacher leaders as agents of change in schools. The study aims to determine the extent to which the managerial capabilities of school principals and the management of BOS funds influence the performance of teacher leaders, both partially and simultaneously. The research design employed is a field study using a quantitative approach with multiple linear regression. The study population consists of 335 teacher-leaders at public elementary schools in Solok Regency, with a sample of 183 participants determined using the Slovin formula and proportional random sampling. Data were collected via questionnaires and analyzed using multiple regression with the aid of IBM SPSS Statistics 26. The results indicate that the principal’s managerial competence has a significant effect on the performance of teacher leaders. Conversely, the management of BOS funds does not have a significant effect when considered partially. However, when considered simultaneously, both variables have a significant effect on the performance of teacher leaders
Titony Tanjung, Fadriati Fadriati, David David, Lili Ramahdani Copyright (c) 2026 Titony Tanjung, Fadriati Fadriati, David David, Lili Ramahdani https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://iocscience.org/ejournal/index.php/Cendikia/article/view/7223 Thu, 02 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Exploring the psychological values of the main character in Tere Liye's Burlian for Indonesian language learning https://iocscience.org/ejournal/index.php/Cendikia/article/view/7253
This study aims to describe the personality structure of the main character in Burlian by Tere Liye based on Sigmund Freud’s psychoanalytic theory, which consists of the id, ego, and superego, and to examine its relevance to Indonesian language learning. This research employed a qualitative descriptive design. Data were collected through library research and note-taking techniques. The data consisted of excerpts from the novel that reflected the personality aspects of the main character. The analysis focused on identifying and interpreting the manifestations of the id, ego, and superego in Burlian’s character. The findings reveal that Burlian possesses a complex personality structure. The id is reflected in his impulsive behaviors and instinctive desires, the ego is demonstrated through his ability to adapt to reality and make rational decisions, and the superego is shown through his moral awareness and acceptance of the consequences of his actions. These three aspects indicate Burlian’s emotional and moral development throughout the story. The study concludes that the psychological portrayal of Burlian provides valuable insights into character development and can support Indonesian language learning, particularly in literature classes. The findings may serve as a learning resource to foster students’ critical thinking, reflective abilities, and character development.
Aghna Joan Aqila, Adyana Sunanda Copyright (c) 2026 Aghna Joan Aqila, Adyana Sunanda https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://iocscience.org/ejournal/index.php/Cendikia/article/view/7253 Tue, 30 Jun 2026 00:00:00 +0000 Boosting students’ self-directed english learning through social media engagement https://iocscience.org/ejournal/index.php/Cendikia/article/view/7232
This study investigates how social media platforms can be leveraged to enhance self-directed English language learning among Muhammadiyah students. Utilizing a quantitative approach, data were collected from 72 students via a structured questionnaire measuring both social media use for English learning and self-directed learning (SDL) behaviors. Descriptive statistics revealed high engagement with social media for English learning (mean = 4.07) and robust self-directed learning tendencies (mean = 3.77), with no significant gender differences. Correlation analysis demonstrated a strong, statistically significant positive relationship between social media use and SDL (Pearson r = 0.793, p < 0.001). These findings suggest that social media is not only widely used and effective for English language learning but also a powerful enabler of self-directed learning in this context. The study highlights the potential of social media to bridge gaps in English education in geographically isolated regions and provides actionable insights for educators and policymakers seeking to foster autonomous, motivated language learners in Muhammadiyah institutions
Ade Ismail Ramadhan Hamid, Khusnul Khatimah Copyright (c) 2026 Ade Ismail Ramadhan Hamid, Khusnul Khatimah https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by-nc/4.0 https://iocscience.org/ejournal/index.php/Cendikia/article/view/7232 Thu, 02 Jul 2026 00:00:00 +0000
