The global context explains that food security sustainability is a priority agenda for various countries and international institutions. Along with the increase in population growth, climate change and limited natural resources to the instability of food supply. Although various studies examine food security from production, economic, and social perspectives, this study integrates technical aspects, economic aspects, and community communication in one agroindustrial-based research. Food security is the result of various factors that affect each other upstream to downstream. Based on the background above, the purpose of the research is to analyze the influence of technical aspects, economic aspects, and community communication on agroindustrial-based food security in the upstream to downstream processing of agricultural products. The research results explain that between technical aspects, business or economic feasibility aspects and community communication affect agroindustry-based food security in the upstream to downstream processing of agricultural products. The economic aspect plays an important role from the research results showing the highest coefficient value of 0.38 among other variables so that the economic aspect has an impact in ensuring the sustainability of the food system. The most realistic food procurement policy is through local food production. However, essential oil perfume producers have not been able to optimize marketing strategies that can attract consumers. Despite this growth, empirical studies that explain consumer purchasing intention and its determining factors for essential oil-based perfumes at the regional level remain limited. This study aims to analyze consumer purchasing intention in essential oil perfumes and the factors that influence it. The study was conducted in Subang Regency from August to December 2025. The approach used was quantitative with a survey method. The sample size in this study was 100 and was determined by accidental sampling technique. The data analysis employed was quantitative descriptive analysis and multiple linear regression analysis. The results of the study indicate that consumer intention in essential oil perfumes is relatively high. Price perception and quality perception have a significant influence on purchasing intention simultaneously. While partially, only price perception has a significant influence on purchasing intention in essential oil perfumes. Scientifically, this study contributes to consumer behavior literature by identifying price perception as a more dominant determinant than quality perception in shaping purchasing intention for natural perfume products in emerging local markets. The volatile nature of its production often creates an imbalance with stable public consumption patterns. This study aims to analyze the trends and growth rates of chili production and consumption in Indonesia over the 2013–2023 period. A descriptive quantitative approach was applied using secondary time-series data obtained from the Indonesian Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) and the Ministry of Agriculture. Data were analyzed using the ordinary least-squares linear trend model and annual growth rate calculations. The results indicate that the long-term trend of chili production is positively upward, expressed by the equation Y = 1,564,402 + 141,837X, with actual production shifting from 1,726,382 tons in 2013 to 3,061,260 tons in 2023, yielding an average annual growth rate of 6.05%. On the downstream side, per capita consumption trends also expanded according to the linear equation Y = 3.69 + 0.07X, reaching 4.614 kg/capita/year in 2023 with an average annual growth of 8.63%. However, the consumption data experienced anomalous extreme fluctuations during the 2015–2017 sub-period, indicating methodological recording bias , whereas annual production remained volatile due to climate disruptions (La Nina). The differing growth characteristics between weather-dependent production and population-driven consumption produce daily supply mismatches that trigger seasonal price volatility. Consequently, national chili commodity policy must pivot toward supply management through climate-adaptive agricultural tech, regional cropping pattern calibrations, cold chain system investments, and sector-wide data synchronization</em><em>.</em></p> Muhamad Solekan, M. MUHAMMAD ASHRAF SYAJURI KOTA LANGSA https://iocscience.org/ejournal/index.php/Agripreneur/article/view/7077 <p>Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi faktor-faktor lingkungan internal dan eksternal serta merumuskan strategi pengembangan usaha ayam potong pada UD Muhammad Ashraf Syajuri Grosir Ayam Potong Giri Kota Langsa. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah pendekatan analisis SWOT dan Quantitative Strategic Planning Matrix (QSPM). Analisis SWOT digunakan untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman yang dihadapi usaha, sedangkan QSPM digunakan untuk menentukan prioritas strategi yang paling tepat untuk diterapkan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa nilai matriks Internal Factor Evaluation (IFE) sebesar 3,53 dan nilai matriks External Factor Evaluation (EFE) sebesar 3,25. Berdasarkan hasil analisis matriks Internal-External (IE), posisi usaha berada pada sel I yang menunjukkan strategi tumbuh dan bina (grow and build). Hasil analisis matriks SWOT menghasilkan empat alternatif strategi pengembangan usaha. Namun, hanya dua alternatif strategi yang dipilih untuk dianalisis lebih lanjut menggunakan matriks QSPM. Berdasarkan hasil analisis QSPM, strategi prioritas yang direkomendasikan adalah menjalin kerja sama dengan restoran dan pelaku usaha kuliner dengan menawarkan kualitas ayam yang segar, harga yang terjangkau, serta distribusi yang cepat yang didukung oleh lokasi usaha yang strategis, dengan nilai Total Attractiveness Score (TAS) sebesar 7,26.</p> Ervina Br. Meskipun berbagai penelitian mengenai integrasi pasar cabai telah dilakukan di Indonesia, kajian yang secara khusus menganalisis integrasi pasar cabai merah keriting di Provinsi Banten masih terbatas. Selain itu, perbedaan tingkat integrasi vertikal antara hubungan petani-pedagang besar dan pedagang besar-pedagang eceran belum banyak dikaji. Penelitian ini bertujuan menganalisis integrasi pasar cabai merah keriting secara vertikal di Provinsi Banten pada dua level pasar tersebut. Data yang digunakan terdiri atas data sekunder berupa harga bulanan tingkat petani, pedagang besar, dan pedagang eceran dari Pusat Informasi Harga Pangan Strategis (PIHPS) periode Mei 2021–April 2026 (60 bulan) serta data primer dari wawancara terhadap 20 pelaku pemasaran di Kabupaten Pandeglang dan Kota Serang. Analisis dilakukan menggunakan Model Ravallion dan Index of Market Connection (IMC) Timmer. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua level pasar terintegrasi dalam jangka pendek (IMC &lt; 1). Pada tingkat petani-pedagang besar diperoleh nilai IMC sebesar 0,367, transmisi harga 0,355, dan R² sebesar 0,375, sedangkan pada tingkat pedagang besar-pedagang eceran diperoleh nilai IMC sebesar 0,172, transmisi harga 0,551, dan R² sebesar 0,712. Temuan ini menunjukkan bahwa integrasi pasar dan efisiensi transmisi harga menguat ke arah hilir namun melemah ke arah hulu. Hubungan petani–pedagang besar menjadi mata rantai terlemah karena hanya 35,5% perubahan harga di tingkat pedagang besar ditransmisikan kepada petani.
